University of Tennessee Health Science Center Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship

Two-year CGSO fellowship (one position per year) offering comprehensive multidisciplinary training across Regional One Health, Methodist Le Bonheur/University/Germantown, Baptist Memorial, and the Methodist Breast Diagnostic Center. Fellows participate fully in disease-site services, tumor boards, and teaching, with additional rotations in medical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, and research. Faculty are engaged with NCCN panels, national societies, basic science, and SWOG clinical trials.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Completion of a fully accredited U.S. general surgery residency prior to fellowship start.

  • American Board of Surgery certified or board-eligible.

  • Foreign applicants must meet all ACGME requirements; J-1 visa only (H-1B not accepted).

  • Apply via ERAS with application, CV, personal statement, and three letters of recommendation.
