Two-year CGSO fellowship (four fellows per year) at Roswell Park, a free-standing NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. Training features 14 months of core surgical oncology rotations (upper GI, hepatobiliary, pancreas, colorectal, melanoma/sarcoma, breast, endocrine, peritoneal surface malignancy), strong emphasis on minimally invasive/robotic surgery (two Da Vinci systems; dedicated MIS skills lab), required non-surgical rotations (medical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, palliative care), and robust clinical/translational research with optional NCI T32 track (combined clinical + research pathway achievable in 36 months). Multidisciplinary, organ-site–focused clinics and a comprehensive didactic curriculum round out the experience.
Eligibility Criteria:

Completion of accredited general surgery residency by fellowship start.

American Board of Surgery board-eligible or board-certified (or equivalent outside the U.S.).

Eligible for ACGME fellowship participation and for New York medical licensure.

Non-U.S. citizens/permanent residents considered if eligible for a J-1 visa.
