Donald L. Morton Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship

Two-year, ACGME-accredited CGSO fellowship (four trainees/year) at the Saint John’s Cancer Institute, Providence Saint John’s Health Center, with an optional third research year. Training spans advanced operative cancer care, multidisciplinary management, and translational/basic science research. Fellows rotate primarily at Providence Saint John’s with additional experience across a multi-campus affiliate network (e.g., Hoag, The Angeles Clinic, UCLA, Kaiser West LA, Providence Saint Jude/Holy Cross/St. Joseph). Core curriculum includes 18 months of clinical rotations, four months of research, and longitudinal medical and radiation oncology exposure; pathology, genetics, and biostatistics are integrated throughout.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Completed ACGME-accredited general surgery residency.

  • Board-eligible in general surgery.

  • Eligible for California medical license.
