ESO CTC Observership – Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori

Three–six month ESO Clinical Training Centre observerships at INT, Italy’s largest comprehensive cancer centre in Milan. Fellows train within multidisciplinary teams across pathology, radiation oncology, HPB oncology, hereditary digestive tract tumours, sarcoma, and head & neck cancers, on a campus that tightly integrates clinical care with translational research.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Doctors who specialized within the last 5 years (or will complete by the start date).

  • From Europe, Mediterranean countries, or Latin America.

  • Prior ESO participation: ≥1 ESO event or ≥5 e-ESO sessions (with evaluations completed).

  • Language: Italian or intermediate English if Italian isn’t spoken (centre working languages: Italian/English).

  • Programme type at INT: Visiting Observership (programme-specific).

  • Italy tax note: Participants in Italian centres are subject to Italian taxation.

Funding Details:

  • ESO economy travel reimbursement (home ↔ training centre).

  • Stipend: EUR 2,000 gross per month.

  • Duration: 3–6 months (HPB programme: 6 months).

  • ESCO credits: 120 (3 months) or 240 (6 months).

  • Trainee covers any medical council registration costs; accommodation not provided.
