Medical Oncology Clinical Research Fellowship Program – McMaster University

1–2 year fellowships at Juravinski Cancer Centre (McMaster) to build subspecialty expertise (Breast, Lung, GI, GU, Clinical Genetics) within a high-volume clinical trials unit, with formal research training options (HRM 721, GDCE, MSc HRM, MHSc Ed). 

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Completed Medical Oncology subspecialty training and eligible for CPSO licensing (Ontario). 

  • Complete application: CV; three references (one from Residency Program Director); cover letter with learning goals and proposed project; medical school transcripts. 

  • All qualified candidates encouraged; Canadian citizens/permanent residents considered first (citizenship statement required). 

Funding Details:

  • Stipend/benefits not specified in the call; fellows gain structured clinical experience plus coursework (e.g., HRM 721) and may pursue GDCE, MSc HRM, or MHSc Ed during a 2-year track. 

Deadline:

  • Applications due September 30, 2025; interviews by invitation.

  • Fellowship start date July 1, 2026; incomplete applications not accepted.
