
American Cancer Society: High School Cancer Research Program
Seed funding for U.S. institutions to create summer research experiences that expose high school students to cancer research and STEM careers.
Eligibility Criteria:

U.S.-based 501(c)(3) academic/research institution with accredited programs and an active cancer research enterprise.

One application per institution.

PI must be full-time faculty (Assistant–Full Professor) with mentoring/admin experience.

Strict tobacco-industry funding exclusion for PI and named mentors.

Subcontracts permitted, but not to entities outside the U.S. or its territories.
Funding Details:

Up to USD 25,000 for 1 year.

Includes USD 500 per student (up to 20 students) and up to USD 10,000 for staff, program management, and career-development/networking.

No indirect costs.
Deadline:

April 1 and October 15 (11:59 p.m. ET); rolls to next business day if on a weekend/holiday.
