Seed funding for innovative PSP/CBD research that needs pilot/proof-of-concept data. Two tracks: Pathway (fundamental disease mechanisms) and Pipeline (translational biomarkers and therapeutics). Up to USD 100,000 for 1–2 years.
Eligibility Criteria:

Open to international academic and research-conducting nonprofits (not in U.S.-sanctioned countries).

PI must hold an advanced degree (e.g., MD, PhD, DO, DVM, ScD); early-career and postdoctoral/medical fellows are eligible.

Projects must focus on PSP/CBD; other tauopathies/proteinopathies require a strong cross-disease rationale.
Funding Details:

Up to USD 100,000 total for 1–2 years; direct costs only (no indirects).

Allowable: personnel, supplies/consumables, publication/data-sharing costs, permanent equipment (typically ≤ USD 8,000), and limited travel (e.g., CurePSP research symposium).

Budget flexibility for minor changes; major scope/timeline changes require prior approval.
