
Independent Investigator Grant
Funds innovative pediatric/AYA cancer research by instructors through professors and research scientists; young investigators (≤5 years post-fellowship) prioritized.
Eligibility Criteria:

MD/DO/PharmD/PhD; all academic ranks; global eligibility; hospital/university/private lab hosts.

Select priority areas include basic discovery, under-studied cancers, QoL/survivorship, targeted/integrative approaches, and data utilization.
Funding Details:

Up to USD 50,000 per year for 1–2 years; semiannual installments.

No indirect costs paid; infrastructure and non-pediatric-relevant proposals not reviewed.

LOI opens August 4, 2025; closes September 12, 2025 (3:30 PM EDT).

Full application (by invite) opens November 6, 2025; due January 6, 2026 (3:30 PM EST).
