
CL7 Young Investigator Grant Award
The Charlie Landers Foundation CL7, in partnership with the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation, is now accepting applications for its inaugural Young Investigator Grant under the pediatric cancer giving pillar. This one-year, $50,000 award supports early-career MD, PhD, or MD/PhD investigators conducting innovative pre-clinical, translational, or clinical Ewing’s sarcoma research, with the possibility of a second year of funding upon demonstrated progress.
Eligibility Criteria:

MD, PhD, or dual MD/PhD degree.

Within 5 years post-fellowship at application deadline, with translational research experience.

≥75% protected research time during award period.

No current NIH independent (R/P) or individual training (F/K) awards (institutional K12/T32 allowed).

U.S. nonprofit institution as grantee.

Mentor with pediatric oncology track record identified.

U.S. citizenship not required.
Funding Details:

Award amount: $50,000 for 1 year; optional second year (50,000 USD) pending progress review.

Budget allowable: salary, fringe, travel, supplies, equipment < 10,000 USD; no indirect costs.

Reporting: interim report at ~6 months; final report 1 month after end date.
