
Yamagiwa-Yoshida Memorial International Cancer (YY) Study Grants
The Yamagiwa-Yoshida Memorial International Cancer (YY) Study Grants empower postdoctoral researchers to advance basic, translational, public health, or applied cancer research through short-term (three-month) international collaborations, fostering exchange of knowledge, skills, and techniques. Supported by the Japan National Committee for UICC, these grants have nurtured over 330 Fellows from 40+ countries in nearly 50 years.
Eligibility Criteria

Hold a PhD (or equivalent) earned at least 2 years before the call’s publication

Demonstrated track record of peer-reviewed publications in cancer research

Roles: researchers, clinicians, epidemiologists, or public health professionals
Funding Details

Duration: 3 months (extensions up to 2 months possible with external funding)

Award Value: Up to US $10,000

Research Scope: Basic, translational, public health, or applied cancer research (no clinical training)
