The Postdoctoral Fellowships (PF) provide up to three years of funded research training for new investigators—broadening their skills and experience—to prepare them for independent careers in cancer research.
Eligibility Criteria:

Employed at a U.S. academic institution or eligible non-profit

U.S. citizen or non-citizen with appropriate visa at submission

Awarded doctoral degree < 4 years ago (clinical-only training not counted; leave exemptions on request ≥6 weeks before deadline: [email protected])

No faculty appointment (e.g., Instructor, Research Assistant Professor)
Funding Details:

Duration: Up to 3 years

Stipend: $66,000 (Year 1), $68,000 (Year 2), $70,000 (Year 3)

Allowances:

$4,000/year for health insurance, workshops, and conference travel

Additional $1,500 in final year for ACS Postdoctoral Fellows Symposium or equivalent meeting

4–12 weeks paid leave per year (birth/adoption)

Fellowship term and stipend extended by length of leave
