
American Cancer Society Research Scholar Grants
The Research Scholar Grants (RSG) support independent, self-directed investigators—within 10 years of their first full-time faculty appointment—to pursue investigator-initiated cancer research across ACS priority areas, funding salary, consumables, and related research expenses.
Eligibility Criteria:

U.S. academic institution or eligible non-profit affiliation

First appointed as independent, full-time faculty < 10 years ago (extensions for leaves on request at least 6 weeks before deadline: [email protected])

PI on no more than one R01 or R01-equivalent grant at time of application
Funding Details:

Duration: Up to 4 years

Budget: Up to $215,000 USD/year direct costs + 10% indirect costs
