
CRUK Clinical Trial Fellowship Award
This Clinical Trial Fellowship Award provides up to £50,000 per year (50% matched by host) for up to three years, enabling early-career clinicians to train within a UKCRC-registered Clinical Trial Unit and develop skills to lead high-impact cancer clinical trials.
Eligibility Criteria:

Clinical Status:
– Clinically trained; completed Foundation Programme; within specialty run-through training period*
– Eligible to complete training and practise in the UK
– Meet “Develop Independence” competencies in CRUK’s Fellowship Competency Framework
*If you’ll finish CCT during the fellowship, you must show protected time to continue the award post-CCT.

Collaborator:
– Joint Lead Applicant: senior staff member at a CRUK or UKCRC-registered CTU who will host you

– Lead Applicant must be the fellow in partnership with the CTU

Workload Expectation: ≥0.5 FTE (≥80% time on academic research)

Additional Training: Opportunity to observe CRUK Clinical Research Monitoring Panel meetings
