
Postdoctoral Individual National Research Service Award (F32)
The NIH Kirschstein–NRSA F32 fellowship provides mentored postdoctoral research training—enabling promising PhD or clinical doctorate holders (U.S. citizens or permanent residents) to broaden their scientific expertise and develop into independent investigators in health-related research areas.
Eligibility Criteria:

Citizen/Residency: U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Degree: PhD, MD, DDS, DVM, or equivalent research doctoral degree.

Career Stage: Postdoctoral or clinical residency level, not yet independent.

Institutional: Applicants based at eligible domestic or qualifying foreign institutions (see specific FOA for participating NIH ICs).
