
Cancer Council NSW Project Grants
Cancer Council NSW and Cancer Council SA Project Grants support Australian cancer research across prevention, biology, treatment, care delivery, and health services—leveraging the NHMRC Ideas Grant framework to fund projects from one to three years.
Eligibility Criteria:

Any Australian-based cancer researcher.

Research on causes, mechanisms, prevention, treatment, care, or cancer control services.

Must submit an NHMRC Ideas Grant application (select “Cancer Council” in Sapphire).

Complete supplementary questions and a Consumer Review form via the NSWCC online portal.
Funding Details:

Duration: Up to 3 years

Amount: Up to $600,000 AUD total

Use of Funds: Personnel, consumables, equipment, travel, and other direct research costs aligned with NHMRC guidelines.
