DoD FY25 Melanoma Research Program Team Science Award
Supports hypothesis-driven, multidisciplinary melanoma research projects led by 2–3 independent PIs working synergistically to address complex problems in prevention, rare subtypes, or survivorship and accelerate advances in patient care.
Eligibility Criteria:
-
Applicant Organizations: Extramural or intramural U.S. or foreign academic institutions, biotechnology companies, foundations, DOD laboratories, and other public or private entities (for-profit or non-profit).
-
Principal Investigators: At least two and up to three independent investigators (Assistant Professor level or higher) by award activation. Mentored positions (postdocs/fellows) are not eligible as PIs.

-
Consumer Collaboration (Encouraged): Partnerships with melanoma survivors, caregivers, or advocacy groups to inform study design and dissemination, though not required.
-
Cost Sharing: Not required.
