
Sarcoma, Melanoma and Rare Tumours Fellowship with Service Development
This 6–12 month fellowship is designed to support surgical trainees looking to specialize in soft tissue sarcoma and melanoma while gaining critical experience in clinical leadership and service development. The fellow will take on day-to-day administrative and clinical responsibility for the Sarcoma, Melanoma and Rare Tumours (SMART) Unit and play a key role in managing the diagnostic service.

Duration:

Eligibility:

Surgical trainees in the later stages of training or recently completed their Specialist Training Programme

Strong interest in surgical oncology and cancer diagnostics

Leadership and organizational potential encouraged
Responsibilities:

Lead the administrative and clinical management of the SMART Unit

Oversee and organize the diagnostic service

Engage in multidisciplinary team activities and clinical decision-making

Contribute to service improvement initiatives

Participate in research and education opportunities
