
SGH Special Award
The SGH Special Award honors cancer researchers and healthcare professionals who have made distinguished contributions to basic and applied cancer research and who demonstrate strong future potential. Originally launched as the Sagawa Special Research Grant Award in 2003, it has been presented under its current name since 2011 to recognize outstanding achievement.
Awardees receive a certificate, monetary prize, and the Kuriwada Eiichi Prize.
Eligibility Criteria:

Individuals with notable accomplishments in basic or applied cancer research.

Demonstrated future promise in advancing the field.

Nominees can be recommended by peers or institutions.
