2025 PCF TACTICAL Awards

The Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) is inviting Letters of Intent for the 2025 TACTICAL Awards (Therapy ACceleration To Intercept CAncer Lethality). These grants support high-risk, high-reward projects focused on developing next-generation therapies for lethal prostate cancer. International academic teams are encouraged to apply.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Teams must include at least five investigators from a minimum of four nonprofit academic institutions.

  • At least two investigators must be early-career researchers (within six years of their terminal degree).

  • Young investigators must not have received more than 2 million US Dollars in direct research funding.

  • For-profit and government institution researchers are not eligible.

  • Multidisciplinary, diverse, and inclusive team structures are favored.

  • Only academic institutions are eligible to receive funds.

Funding Details

  • Grant amount: 5 million to 10 million US Dollars per award

  • Duration: 3 to 5 years

  • Institutional indirect costs capped at 10%

  • Clinical trial costs are not eligible, but correlative studies linked to trials are encouraged
