Swiss Cancer Research Foundation: National MD-PhD Program

In collaboration with the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences (SAMS) and the Swiss National Science Foundation, the Swiss Cancer Research Foundation provides MD-PhD fellowships to equip medical doctors with research skills for a dual career as clinicians and scientists.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must have completed studies in human, veterinary, or dental medicine
Must be admitted to an MD-PhD program at a Swiss university by the start of the scholarship
Must have been residents of Switzerland for at least 2 years by the application deadline
Applications must be written in English using the SAMS application form

Funding Details:

Duration: 2 to 3 years
Supports doctoral training combining clinical practice and research
