
Vicky Amidon Innovation Grant in Lung Cancer Research
The Vicky Amidon Innovation Grant offered by the Lung Cancer Initiative (LCI) supports exceptionally novel and creative research projects aimed at improving the lives of individuals diagnosed with lung cancer. Eligible research may be basic, translational, clinical, or epidemiological, with direct applicability to lung cancer. Projects should demonstrate innovative thinking and may focus on prevention, diagnosis, treatment, or survivorship.
Eligibility

Open to researchers of all levels at academic or community medical centers, CROs, emerging pharma, or other institutions.

Must be based in North Carolina or South Carolina.

Researchers from outside lung cancer research (e.g., other cancer or biomedical areas) are eligible if proposing novel approaches applicable to lung cancer.

Projects focused on lung cancer disparities or minority populations will receive favorable consideration.

Collaborative proposals are strongly encouraged.
