
ASTRO-BCRF Career Development Award
This award supports the research and career advancement of early-career investigators in the field of radiation oncology with a focus on breast cancer. The program emphasizes a mentored research environment and strong institutional support. Proposals must include a clear career development/training plan, and grantees are expected to make data publicly available where possible.
Eligibility:

Early-stage investigators with 20% effort devoted to the project

Terminal degree (PhD, MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent) required

Must not have previously received this award

U.S.-based academic or nonprofit institutions only
Funding:

Up to USD 100,000 in direct costs
-
Funds must support the investigator’s research and career development (up to 20%)

Data sharing costs allowed (up to 5%)
-
No indirect costs or mentor salaries allowed
