Virtual Event
Small Molecule Drug Discovery

The Building Bridges: Target Engagement Profiling & AutoTSA for Small Molecule Drug Discovery webinar, organized by Oncode Accelerator, will take place on October 6, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM CET via Microsoft Teams.

The webinar will explore two complementary approaches to reducing risk in early-stage oncology drug development, with a focus on small molecules. Jennifer McCormack-Venhorst, PhD, Senior Scientist Integrator at TNO, will present AutoTSA: Faster Target Safety Decisions for Drug Discovery, highlighting an AI-driven approach that uses generative AI and large language model-based tools to support automated target safety assessments while maintaining human oversight.

Anthe Janssen, PhD, Assistant Professor at Leiden University and Co-founder and CSO of Omivera, will discuss target engagement profiling using chemical proteomics and the CellEKT platform, which measures investigational compound interactions across a broad range of kinase and non-kinase targets in living-cell systems. Together, the presentations will examine how AI-enabled safety assessment and in-cell target engagement profiling can help accelerate and de-risk small-molecule discovery programs.
