The European School of Oncology’s Refresher Course on Sarcoma is an advanced educational event taking place from 25 to 27 September 2026 in Rome, Italy.

Organized in collaboration with the Università Campus Bio-Medico di Roma, the program is led by Course Chair Sylvie Bonvalot (FR), Host Chair Bruno Vincenzi (IT), and College Representative Silvia Brotea-Mosoiu (RO).

The curriculum provides a comprehensive review of soft tissue sarcomas alongside bone, desmoid, pediatric, GIST, and uterine subtypes. It focuses directly on the WHO classification, molecular biology, advanced imaging, biopsy techniques, surgical quality standards, and radiotherapy sequencing. Through interactive, faculty-led clinical case discussions, the course equips attending specialists with evidence-based strategies to optimize multidisciplinary decision-making and advance personalized patient care.
