The ESSO Advanced Course on the Treatment of Peritoneal Surface Malignancy takes place 15–16 October 2026 in Barcelona, Spain.

This comprehensive two-day workshop addresses the state-of-the-art multimodal treatment of peritoneal surface malignancies through plenary lectures, MDT case sessions, small group multilingual discussions, video-based education, and live surgery.

Day 1 is held at Centro Médico Teknon and Day 2 at Hospital de Sant Joan Despí Moisès Broggi. Led by internationally renowned experts, the programme covers patient selection, the value of cytoreductive surgery across different disease types, intraperitoneal chemotherapy including HIPEC and PIPAC, morbidity and mortality reduction, and neoadjuvant therapy strategies. The course is designed for teams of surgeons, gynaecologic oncologists, oncologists, and nurse specialists already involved in or considering starting a peritoneal surface malignancy programme.
