The ESO-ESSO-ESTRO-ESP Multidisciplinary Course in Oncology for Medical Students takes place 24–28 August 2026 at Johannes Kepler University, Linz, Austria.

Jointly organised by ESO, ESSO, ESTRO and ESP, the course is designed to encourage medical students to specialise in an oncology-related discipline. Open to students who have completed their fourth year of studies, participation is limited to 40 selected candidates.

Over one intensive week, the programme combines theoretical plenary sessions, MDT case presentations, clinical visits in small groups, and pre-recorded lectures, with a focus on gastrointestinal, breast, lung, gynaecologic, and genitourinary cancers.

Participants will also prepare and deliver a group presentation on the final day. By the end of the course, students will have a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of oncology and the multidisciplinary approach to cancer treatment.
