The Role of Surgery in Metastatic NET
The European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO) is hosting a free webinar titled “The Role of Surgery in Metastatic NET (Neuroendocrine Tumors)“ on Wednesday, November 27, 2025, from 17:00 to 18:00 CET.
The webinar aims to educate surgical oncologists, senior residents, medical oncologists, and other professionals involved in NET care on the current role, selection criteria, and timing of surgical intervention within a multidisciplinary strategy.
Key topics covered will include defining surgical selection criteria for metastatic NETs, discussing the interplay between debulking surgery and radioligand therapy, and reviewing the indications and outcomes of liver transplantation for NET metastases in the modern therapeutic landscape. The session will feature presentations from speakers Ruben Bellotti and Emilio Bertani, and will be moderated by Stefan Stättner and Stefano Partelli.
