The European Conference on Interventional Oncology (ECIO) 2026 is the leading multidisciplinary platform for minimally invasive cancer care. Scheduled for April 26–30, 2026, the event will take place at the Congress Center Basel in Basel, Switzerland.

Organized by the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE), the conference highlights interventional oncology (IO) as the “fourth pillar” of cancer care. A key feature is the Collaborating Against Cancer Initiative (CACI), which allows registered radiologists to bring a non-radiologist colleague (such as a medical oncologist or surgeon) for free, often including travel support of up to €1,000 to foster multidisciplinary team (MDT) cooperation.
