The International Conference on Assisted Dying and Other End-of-Life Care (ICEL5), hosted by the Australian Centre for Health Law Research, will take place from 8–11 April 2026 at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane.

This four-day interdisciplinary symposium serves as a global platform for academics, legal experts, and healthcare practitioners to analyze the complex intersection of ethics, clinical practice, and policy within end-of-life care. Led by a scientific committee of international experts from Australia, Belgium, Canada, the Netherlands, and the USA, the program focuses on sharing empirical research and multi-jurisdictional perspectives to address the evolving legal and clinical landscapes of assisted dying.
