IARC60 Conference: “Cancer Research into Action”

May 19, 2026 - May 21, 2026
IARC60

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), part of the World Health Organization, will celebrate its 60th anniversary with the IARC60 Conference, themed “Cancer Research into Action.” The event will take place in Lyon, France, from 19 to 21 May 2026, bringing together leading scientists, researchers, policymakers, and public health professionals from around the globe.

This milestone conference will focus on how cutting-edge scientific discoveries can be effectively translated into tangible outcomes for cancer prevention and control. Discussions will center around three key themes: Discovery and Innovation for Cancer Prevention, Translating Research into Public Health Action, and the Science–Policy Interface for Global Change. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in multidisciplinary dialogue and contribute to shaping the future of global cancer research and policy.

The Call for Abstracts is now open, inviting researchers to submit their work and share insights that can advance cancer prevention worldwide. Further details about registration, including participation fees, are available on the official conference website.”
