Global Oncothon 2026

On World Cancer Day, February 4, 2026, the Global Oncothon 2026 will unite the international oncology community for a 24-hour digital telethon dedicated to closing the gap in cancer care equity.
Organized by OncoDaily in collaboration with the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), this continuous broadcast brings together a high-profile assembly of world leaders, clinicians, and advocates – including HRH Princess Dina Mired, UICC President-Elect Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu, and ASCO’s Julie Gralow – to mobilize funding and leadership for health systems where the need is most critical.
Spanning the entire cancer continuum from early detection to workforce training, the event converts global awareness into tangible investment for pathology capacity, essential medicines, and patient-centered care models. This third edition of the Oncothon serves as a powerful launchpad for UICC member organizations, driving locally led solutions to ensure that quality cancer services are accessible to all, regardless of geography.
