The 17th International Gastric Cancer Congress (IGCC 2027) will take place from April 14–17, 2027, in Santiago, Chile, under the theme “Gastric Cancer in the Real World.”

Organized by the International Gastric Cancer Association (IGCA), the congress will bring together surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, gastroenterologists, radiologists, basic scientists, nurses, epidemiologists, public-health specialists, patient advocates, and other professionals involved in gastric cancer care and research.

The meeting will focus on translating advances in gastric cancer research into practical approaches that can be applied across different healthcare settings. The scientific programme will address the full spectrum of gastric cancer, from epidemiology, prevention, early detection, and screening to surgery, systemic therapy, immunotherapy, biomarkers, palliative care, and emerging technologies.

IGCC 2027 will also provide opportunities for international collaboration and multidisciplinary discussion, with plenary sessions, scientific presentations, workshops, poster viewing, and sessions dedicated to current clinical trials and novel approaches in gastric cancer.
