The European Cancer Summit 2026: Strengthening Cancer Care—Securing a Healthy, Equitable, Resilient and Competitive Europe, organized by the European Cancer Organisation (ECO), will take place on 18–19 November 2026 at The Hotel Brussels and online, followed by EU-funded project events on 20 November.

The Summit will bring together healthcare professionals, patient advocates, researchers, and policymakers to examine cancer prevention and early detection, inequalities in access to care, health-system resilience, and cancer research and digital innovation.

Abstract submissions are open to lead authors aged 40 or younger and close on 31 July 2026 at 17:00 CEST. Up to 20 abstracts will be selected for the poster exhibition, with up to three chosen for oral presentation; selected lead authors will receive complimentary Summit registration. Abstracts must address ECO policy priorities rather than exclusively clinical research. Registration is available for both in-person and virtual participation, with special rates offered until 15 September 2026.
