The ESSO-KBCS Course on Minimally Invasive Breast Surgery (MIBS) will take place on 15–16 January 2027 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Organized by the European Society of Surgical Oncology (ESSO) in collaboration with KBCS, this Level 2, in-person course provides advanced training in minimally invasive breast surgery, with a focus on robotic and endoscopic nipple-sparing mastectomy with immediate reconstruction.

The program covers patient selection, oncological safety, robotic and endoscopic surgical techniques, reconstruction strategies, complication management, outcomes, and development of minimally invasive breast surgery curricula.

Educational methods include plenary lectures, video presentations, live surgery transmission, demonstration sessions, small-group workshops, and interactive discussions. The course is aimed at breast surgery residents, surgeons in training, specialty doctors working in breast surgery, general surgeons with a breast surgery interest, and other surgical specialists interested in developing skills in minimally invasive breast surgery.
