The European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) Conference on Cancer Metabolism will be held in Bilbao, Spain, from October 6–8, 2026. This conference focuses on metabolic reprogramming, a key hallmark of tumors, and the metabolic alterations that cancer and stromal cells undergo to meet energetic demands, survive in hostile environments, and modify their niche.
The meeting will gather top experts to discuss the mechanisms through which metabolites regulate cell decisions, the metabolic interaction between the tumor and the host, and explore undocumented metabolic alterations in cancer. It targets basic and translational scientists and clinicians, aiming to provide a broad and detailed overview of the most recent advances in the field.
