The ESSO Video-Based Workshop on Cytoreductive Surgery will take place on February 2, 2027, at the KARL STORZ Visitor and Training Center in Berlin, Germany, with online participation also available.

This Level 1 workshop will provide a detailed, video-based review of cytoreductive surgery (CRS) for peritoneal surface malignancies, covering peritoneal anatomy, parietal and visceral peritonectomy, PCI scoring, minimally invasive CRS, visceral resections, reconstruction, abdominal closure, and operative reporting.

The programme combines surgical video demonstrations with expert discussion, panel sessions, and interactive Q&A, and is aimed at senior surgical residents and experienced consultant surgeons seeking to refine their technical understanding of CRS.
