The AACR Special Conference in Cancer Research: Redefining Lung Cancer—From Mechanistic Biology to Emerging and AI-Driven Therapies, organized by the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) in association with the AACR Lung Cancer Task Force, will take place on 14–17 January 2027 at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront in San Diego, California.

This inaugural Lung Cancer Task Force meeting will bring together researchers, clinicians, and innovators to address major challenges across lung cancer prevention, risk assessment, early detection, translational research, and treatment. The programme will cover minimal residual disease, immuno-oncology, oncogene-driven lung cancer, small cell lung cancer, resistance mechanisms, precision medicine, clinical trial innovation, genomics, and artificial intelligence. The abstract submission deadline is 29 October 2026 at 1:00 p.m. ET.
