The AACR Special Conference in Cancer Research: Cancer Evolution will take place from June 21–23, 2027, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Organized by the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), the conference will bring together cancer researchers, clinicians, and computational scientists to explore how evolutionary principles shape tumor development, progression, and therapeutic response.

The meeting will focus on the biological processes that drive tumor evolution, cancer adaptation, intratumoral heterogeneity, treatment resistance, and disease progression. Sessions will explore how evolutionary concepts can improve understanding of cancer biology and guide the development of new therapeutic strategies, including approaches to overcome resistance and improve precision oncology.
