The conference “Cancer Cell Plasticity: Cracking the Code of Adaptation and Survival,” organized by the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR), is a Virtual Event scheduled for December 2-3, 2025. The educational focus is on the fundamental mechanisms that control cancer cell plasticity—the ability of cancer cells to change their phenotype, function, and behavior to adapt and survive.

Experts will discuss non-genetic mechanisms (like epigenetic modifications and metabolic reprogramming) that drive tumour heterogeneity, metastasis, and therapeutic resistance, with the ultimate goal of advancing knowledge to develop innovative therapeutic strategies to prevent or reverse the adaptive prowess of cancer cells.
