The ESTRO – Basic Clinical Radiobiology course will take place from November 29–December 3, 2026, at the Park Inn by Radisson Berlin Alexanderplatz in Berlin, Germany.

Organized by the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO), the course will provide foundational and clinically relevant knowledge of radiobiology principles applied to modern radiotherapy.

The course will cover essential concepts in radiation biology, including radiation-induced DNA damage, cellular responses, fractionation, tumour and normal tissue effects, hypoxia, radiosensitivity, combined radiotherapy approaches, and emerging concepts in radiation treatment optimisation.

Designed for professionals involved in radiation oncology, the programme aims to strengthen understanding of biological mechanisms that influence radiotherapy effectiveness and toxicity, supporting better treatment decision-making in clinical practice.
