Sleep Needs of Childhood Cancer Patients by SIOP GHN Psychosocial Wellbeing WG will be held on March 26, 2025, Virtually.
The Sleep Needs of Childhood Cancer Patients webinar, organized by the SIOP GHN Psychosocial Wellbeing WG, will focus on the increased risk of sleep disturbances in children and adolescents with cancer. This population faces sleep challenges due to illness-related factors, treatment-induced symptoms, psychological and emotional issues, and environmental disruptions. Most existing interventions to address sleep problems have been validated in healthy children, not specifically those with cancer. The session will discuss tailored interventions at both the individual and environmental levels to better address the unique sleep needs of young cancer patients.
Online registration is available until March 26, 2025.
