9th Annual ELLOK Conference

Feb 3 • 9:00 AM - Feb 5 • 3:00 PM
9th Annual ELLOK Conference

The 9th Annual ELLOK Conference will take place from February 3rd to 5th, 2025, at the Wyndham Grand Athens Hotel.

The event is organized by Hellenic Cancer Federation (ELLOK) and the theme of this year’s conference is “From Planning to Implementation”. This annual event is strategically aligned with World Cancer Day on February 4th, providing a platform to address critical health policy issues and explore developments that impact the quality of oncology care and services. The conference will bring together a wide range of stakeholders, including policymakers, healthcare professionals, patient organizations, and industry representatives, to engage in discussions that will shape the future of cancer care both in Greece and globally.

The 9th ELLOK Conference will serve as the launch event for the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC)’s three-year global campaign, “United by Unique” (2025–2027). This campaign emphasizes the importance of collective efforts in cancer control while also celebrating the individuality of patient experiences and contributions to advocacy.

The purpose of the conference is to address critical concerns in oncology care, such as improving patient access to innovative treatments, advancing policy, and promoting multidisciplinary approaches to care. Experts from various fields – including policymakers, academia, the scientific community, healthcare professionals, industry leaders, and patient organizations – will gather to exchange insights and collaborate on developing effective strategies. With a focus on both theoretical frameworks and practical applications, the conference aims to drive meaningful change in oncology care at both the national and European levels.

Registration is open for the event.
