International Childhood Cancer Day 2025 by SIOP Europe will be held at February 4th, 2025 at European Parliament, Brussels.
The International Children Cancer Day 2025 conference focuses on the theme “Cross-Border Access to Care, Research, and Training: Reducing Inequalities for Children with Cancer.” Building on the insights gathered from the previous year, the second phase of the campaign aims to shift towards actionable solutions to address the challenges faced by children with cancer worldwide.
The conference will delve into collaborative efforts and initiatives emerging from different regions to improve access to care, research, and training for pediatric cancer. Key discussions will highlight innovative measures and successful models aimed at overcoming barriers such as limited healthcare infrastructure, lack of access to treatment, and disparities in medical training.
This year’s focus is on fostering global collaboration and knowledge exchange, creating a platform where experts, healthcare providers, researchers, and advocacy groups can share best practices, policy recommendations, and innovative solutions that have been implemented across various regions to tackle inequities in cancer care for children. The aim is to work collectively to reduce inequalities and ensure that every child has access to the best possible care, research, and training opportunities, regardless of geographical location.
