Patrick Hwu: The FDA approved a groundbreaking treatment called TIL Therapy for advanced melanoma

“Today, the FDA approved a groundbreaking treatment called TIL Therapy for advanced melanoma. We are grateful Moffitt Cancer Center could play an integral role in the development of this lifesaving therapy.

Thank you to Amod Sarnaik, Shari Pilon-Thomas, Dr. James Mule’, their teams and so many others for their important work on TIL Therapy through the years.

It is our hope that future iterations of TIL will be important for lung cancer, colon cancer, head and neck cancer, bladder cancer, and many other cancer types.
