Vivian Kobusingye Birchall: The People Behind the Global Health Catalyst Summit

Vivian Kobusingye Birchall’s, Communications and Media Director at Global Health Catalyst shared on LinkedIn:

“A personal note of thanks to the people who supported our communications work throughout the Global Health Catalyst Summit.

It was an honor to work alongside Nami Assir, courtesy of OncoDaily, and Joanne Stanway of Geminai, who supported us with videography and helped capture so many of the conversations, people and moments that made up the Summit.

When you are responsible for communications at an event like this, you quickly realize how much of the work happens behind the scenes. There are interviews to capture while sessions are ongoing, and sometimes we have to improvise the modality for recording an event or interview depending on the setting and what is happening around us. Having people beside you who can adapt and still get the job done makes a difference.

Nami and Joanne, thank you for your time, professionalism, flexibility and for working alongside me throughout the Summit. I truly enjoyed working with you and am grateful for the role you played in helping us document and share the work of the GHC community.

It takes a team to tell the story. Thank you for being part of ours.”

Lydia Asana, Executive Director at Global Health Catalyst, added:

“Thank you, indeed, Joanne Stanway, Nami Assir, OncoDaily, Geminai LLC and our Young Catalysts who assisted Augustin Bancalari, Gianluca Lorenzoni and our ‘Tech guy’ Gavriel Ngwa.

Thank you, Vivian Kobusingye Birchall for your passion and skills in communication for global health, which you so cheerfully contribute to Global Health Catalysts bringing issues to light, stories to life, and opportunities to the forefront.”
