Scott Howard Recognized Among The 100 Most Influential CEOs in Oncology in 2025

Scott Howard is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Resonance, a global health organisation he established in 2015 to improve care through research, education, collaboration and technology — especially in low‑ and middle‑income countries. He also serves as a pediatric hematologist/oncologist at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and is a Professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where he teaches health economics and conducts research in global oncology care. Howard brings more than 20 years of experience treating children with leukemia and lymphoma and strengthening international health systems, and he previously served as Medical Information Officer at St. Jude and Chief Information Officer of the Guardian Research Network.

Under his leadership, Resonance has become a recognised platform for global oncology collaboration and education. He co‑founded networks such as the Acute Leukemia Research and Care Network and the Global Neuroblastoma Network, which connect clinicians and researchers from six continents for weekly education and collaboration. Howard’s work has also supported the development of multidisciplinary research partnerships, workforce capacity building and efforts tied to the World Health Organization’s global childhood cancer initiatives, reflecting his commitment to reducing disparities in cancer care and expanding access to quality treatment worldwide. His leadership and commitment in advancing pediatric cancer care worldwide is also reflected by his role as Deputy Director at the Yeolyan Hematology and Oncology Center in Yerevan, Armenia.
