Renata Brandtnerova is the Executive Director of the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO), a leading professional organisation dedicated to improving the prevention, treatment, and care of gynaecological cancers across Europe. In this role, she manages the society’s operational functions, supports governance and strategic planning, and works closely with the ESGO Council, Secretariat, and networks including ENYGO, ENGOT, and ENGAGe to advance education, research, and collaboration in the field of gynaecological oncology.
Brandtnerova has extensive experience in nonprofit and association management within the medical and scientific community, with a strong background in developing and coordinating educational, advocacy, and partnership initiatives that support ESGO’s mission. She plays a key administrative and leadership role in initiatives that enhance professional training, guideline implementation, and multidisciplinary engagement among healthcare professionals, contributing to ESGO’s impact on improving care and outcomes for patients with gynaecological cancers.
