Paul Goldberg Recognized Among The 100 Most Influential People in Oncology in 2025

Paul Goldberg is a journalist, author and the Editor of The Cancer Letter, a publication covering cancer research, drug development, and oncology policy. His investigative reporting has influenced oncology policy and regulation and has contributed to multiple Congressional investigations. His work has been recognized by the Gerald Loeb Awards, the Washington, DC Professional Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, the Association of Health Care Journalists, and the Newsletter and Electronic Publishers Foundation.

Goldberg’s journalism has appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Slate, and The Washington Monthly, and he has been featured on 60 Minutes, 20/20, CNN, and NPR. He is the author of three novels and three nonfiction books, including How We Do Harm (co-authored with Otis Brawley), an examination of the U.S. healthcare system. His novel The Dissident was shortlisted for the 2024 Wingate Literary Prize.
