John V. Oyler recognized among The 100 Most Influential People in Oncology in 2025

John V. Oyler is a biotechnology executive and entrepreneur with a longstanding focus on oncology drug development and translational science. He is the Co-Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of BeOne Medicines, a global biopharmaceutical company specializing in oncology drug discovery, development, and commercialization. Oyler co-founded the company in 2010 with biochemist Xiaodong Wang and has since led its expansion into a multinational oncology enterprise with operations across more than 45 countries and over 11,000 employees. 

Across his career, Oyler has consistently worked at the intersection of science, strategy, and execution, with a particular emphasis on building organizations capable of translating complex biology into clinically meaningful cancer therapies, serving as President and CEO of BioDuro, and earlier in executive positions at Genta and Telephia. Oyler’s entrepreneurial contributions to biopharmaceutical innovation have been recognized in industry lists such as The Medicine Maker 2025 Power List in the biopharmaceutical category and as a 2025 Entrepreneur of the Year National Health Award recipient.
