Joe Apgar is the Chief Executive Officer of Pelotonia, a nonprofit that funds innovative cancer research. Under his leadership, Pelotonia has raised over $300 million annually, directly supporting hundreds of research projects at institutions including Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center and partnering hospitals. He has overseen the growth of the annual Pelotonia cycling event to engage tens of thousands of participants nationwide, making it one of the largest single-cause fundraising events in the U.S.
